Would not stay here

We were charged a cleaning fee however the home was dirty with dead roaches in doin throughout the home. There were area rugs that's had pee stains on them. The walls were dirty. The tenant ended up breaking our lease early while we were away on a work trip, he went into the home and threw away our personal belongs without contacting us ahead of time. He stated he thought we were moving out that day. The tenant did not compensate us for anything he threw away. I would not advise anyone to stay here. Very old and outdated.

We appreciate the feedback but need to address several inaccuracies in this review. This guest stayed for over three months and did not raise a single concern about cleanliness, insects, rugs, or property condition at any point during that time. We have timestamped photos documenting the property's condition at move in, which do not reflect what is described here. Prior to departure, this guest requested a refund of the mandatory cleaning fee. That fee is clearly outlined in the lease agreement as a non-refundable charge and was disclosed prior to signing. When that request was declined, this review followed shortly after. Regarding the belongings, the tenant confirmed their departure date in writing. Based on that confirmation, our cleaning team was dispatched to prepare the unit for the next occupant, which is standard procedure. The tenant then chose to extend their stay without any prior notice to our team. We acted in good faith based on the written confirmation we received, and we are sorry for any inconvenience that created. A cleaning fee covers professional preparation of the property between tenants. In extended stays, the condition of the home during occupancy is largely a reflection of how it is maintained by the guest. Three months without a single reported issue, followed by concerns raised only after a refund request was denied, does not align with a genuine unresolved experience. We have documentation supporting our position and stand behind the condition of our property and the professionalism of our team.
