A Comfortable and New Experience
If your looking to save some money while on assignment and want to have amenities that allow you to cook from home, this is the place to book. I enjoyed my stay for my assignment because the home is newly renovated and the kitchen is fantastic. I baked my first sour dough bread, concocted my first kamboucha tea and enjoyed watching hummingbirds go for a drink outside the kitchen window while busy washing dishes. The hummingbird feeder was installed by Richard because Sue noticed I enjoyed stitting outside to enjoy the enormous amount of trees, birds and a family of deers. All these things were the highlight of my personal experience. If you book here, you just must find your own new experience in the great city of Iowa-Go Hawkeyes!
Beautiful Property
I renewed my contract several times because of Richard and Sue. They truly made this feel like my home away from home. My room was upstairs and had a beautiful view overlooking the green backyard. Richard and Sue were amazing landlords-kind, responsive, and always willing to help. Anything that needed to be addressed was handled the same day. Last winter, my car battery died, and Richard came over right away to give me a jump so I could get my car to a place to have the battery replaced. That kind of thoughtfulness really says a lot about the type of landlords they are. I also had amazing roommates, and we really enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen after our shifts. We shared a laundry room, which was never an issue. I'm very grateful for my time here and for the friendships and memories I made. I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back to Iowa someday, and if I do, I would absolutely want to stay with Richard and Sue again. I highly recommend them.
10 out of 10
What can I say except I'm going to miss Richard and his wonderful wife Sue. Amazing landlords if there was an issue he fixed it immediately. I was TJ be first tenant they ever had and I was so honored by that. I had the room downstairs with the bathroom and it felt like a mini hotel suite. My roommates were amazing and we shared the laundry and kitchen without any issues. Richard did an amazing job with this property and Sue added the right touches to make it feel warm. If ever I go to Iowa again I'm coming for my room lol. I wish Richard and Sue nothing but success.
