Home is shared with other travelers and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The home is well maintained and has previously been in generations of homeowners. House is in a well-established neighborhood with plenty of space to enjoy.
This spot sits in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, a few blocks from the Lake Michigan shoreline and 2.3 miles to MKE airport. It's a walkable, bike-friendly area with tons of characteristic coffee shops, corner bars, indie boutiques, and casual restaurants all lining the streets. Humboldt Park is nearby and great for walks, summer concerts, or just hanging out by the lagoon. The neighborhood feels like a blend of laid-back an...
Made Milwaukee worth it
I stayed here between the months of July 2025-January 2026. The room had a bed, television, closet, and was right next to the bathroom. The kitchen had what anyone could need. Laundry was downstairs. Neighborhood was safe and healthcare workers parked in the driveway. Everyone that lives in this house is super nice, super respectful, and doesn't cause any problems or trouble. Landlord was a GEM. Super sweet, really wants what's best for you and has a good heart. I would say that if you are someone who likes to keep your door closed all the time that won't happen here, as when you leave the house the landlord does like to have the doors cracked to allow air to circulate throughout the house. The bathroom is extremely well done and the shower is great especially after working those long shifts. It was a very nice stay and would recommend it to anyone if needing a place to call home for a little bit.
Nice spot in a quiet neighborhood
Marsha is a very kind and people oriented. The room I stayed in was very nice and had a comfortable bed, a smart tv, and great wifi. The room also got a new ceiling fan installed that felt great and she's trying to add a bathroom to make that room into a kind of studio. Its a great place if you want to come home from work and have a designated parking spot and a quiet place to rest and relax.
The house smells like smoke!
After all the candles are blown out the real smell comes out. It be in your work clothes and bags. I was told before moving in that I could try the place out for a week and if I didn't like it then she would refund my rent $950 and she would keep $150 cleaning fee. Well,I didn't like it and she refuse to give me my rent back. She called me a bit**. She used my food without asking. She would play loud music while I was sleeping. Wake me up on Saturday morning (8:30)to tell me maintenance was coming at1 pm. She's antagonistic.
