6 Month Stay Review

We stayed here for about 6 months—from October through April—so we got to experience all seasons, and it was a great place to be year-round. The home sits right across from the Blue Ridge Mountains in a very quiet area. Neighbors aren’t close, so it feels really private. There are walking trails behind the house down to a small stream, which was a nice bonus. We loved the wildlife—just be mindful driving with deer and cattle around. Watching the animals from the deck in the mornings while the sun rises was a highlight. The house itself is cozy, warm, and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the fireplace is perfect for colder nights. The landlords were also super kind and helpful during our stay. Just a heads up—the driveway is steep, so 4WD is recommended in winter, and it can get windy at times. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
