The Garden Suite gets early morning light from the skylight and windows. I provide blackout curtains for the windows in the bedroom, and an individually wrapped sleep mask and ear plugs. The house is located in an urban area, and there may be noise from traffic, emergency vehicles, or occasional fireworks. The room shares a wall with the main house, so you will hear normal living sounds during the day. If you are exceptionally ...
Enjoy fresh produce from the Farmer's Market every Saturday morning, dine at a Micheline restaurant, check out local artisanal shops such as Anchor Pantry, or explore the Vallejo Arts scene at Art Walk every second Friday and open studios every Second Saturday. Vallejo is a great base camp for day trips to wine country, the Santa Cruz boardwalk, John Muir Redwoods, San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's stadiums, and more.
Confortable stay for 3 month travel contract
I stayed here for my travel nurse contract at Kaiser Vallejo. Super convenient location, less than ten minutes to the hospital, and walking distance from the ferry to SF and the Saturday morning farmers market. I also enjoyed the yard outside, the porch is a nice spot to enjoy a meal or drink when the weather is nice. The apartment had a spacious bedroom that was able to accommodate all of the camping gear I brought with me. I worked night shift, so I covered the skylight with a big piece of brown paper and between that and the blackout curtains I was able to sleep during the day. I was able to hear some sounds from the roads and house but was able to sleep fine with earplugs. Becca was also very accommodating and would ask me when a good time to do yard work would be if it would be noisy from the leaf blower. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.
