Stay at Sarene

I stayed at Sarene's for three weeks while completing my Emergency Medicine rotation at UM Capital Region Medical Center. From the initial virtual tour through move-in, communication was prompt, organized, and professional. The apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Although there was no full kitchen, I brought my air fryer and was able to prepare most of my meals without difficulty. The room was comfortable with a lot of storage. Before I signed the lease, Sarene was transparent that the bedroom is located below her home office, so some footsteps and conversation could be heard during the day. However, this was never a significant issue for me. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The accommodations were clean, well-organized, and exactly what I needed, and Sarene was a responsive and thoughtful host throughout my stay.

Nice Stay!

Overall, I had a nice stay! It is a beautiful neighborhood & easy to get around town. However, if you are looking for a place to have total privacy, this isnt it. You can hear their conversations and they can hear yours. You will hear footsteps until 10-11pm most nights. I thought the guest policy was a bit strict considering you are paying the full price of an apartment. Also, there is a security camera in the tree that faces the door, patio, and bathroom window - which they did not tell me about. Other than those things, the room is beautiful and clean. $1500 was a fair and reasonable price for the unit as there is no kitchen sink and you are expected to wipe your dishes out. Overall, it was a nice short term stay!

As to the concerns raised, we intend to be transparent about the nature of this rental, set accurate expectations, and encourage guests to contact us immediately if they have any issues so that we have an opportunity to address them during a stay. Since this a basement unit in an occupied home, normal household noises are to be expected. Our guest policy is disclosed before booking and is designed to ensure the comfort and security of everyone on the property. During this stay, several guests visited without any concern from us. We also take everyone's security seriously. The visible exterior camera that monitors the entrance area is for safety purposes only. It does not provide a view into the bathroom or any private interior areas. We appreciate the feedback and are pleased that, overall, this was an enjoyable stay.

Absolutely perfect!

This was the ideal spot for my six-week stay. The place was clean, the bathroom was gorgeous, and it had literally everything I could have needed (from coffee to laundry pods to extra bedding and dishes). Sarene is extremely responsive and thoughtful. I had no issues whatsoever; this exceeded my expectations in every way.
