West Hills is a quiet, residential part of the western San Fernando Valley. It mainly comprises single-family homes with tree-lined streets and a suburban feel. You'll find parks, schools, and shopping centers nearby, making it convenient for daily errands. The area is also close to the 101 and 118 freeways, which makes commuting to other parts of Los Angeles easier.
I strongly recommend avoiding this property
I travel extensively for work, and this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had. From the beginning, I felt there was a constant effort to find new ways to charge additional money. Amenities I understood to be included became subjects of additional fees, and the move out process ultimately turned into a dispute over my security deposit. The property contains aging furnishings and fixtures, particularly outdoors. When outdoor furniture failed during ordinary use, I was charged the cost of brand new replacement items rather than what I believe would be the depreciated value of furniture that appeared to be many years old. The exterior of the property is heavily monitored by security cameras, which made the home feel far less private than expected. My advice: photograph and video everything when you move in and again when you move out. Get every promise in writing and keep copies of all communications. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.
