Gem in quiet quaint Q-line UES room
I stayed briefly and appreciated Sammys warm hospitality-he went above and beyond to help me move in. The space could use a cleaning, but the prime UES location, friendly doorman, gym, and laundry make it a solid pick. Sammy kindly cleared fridge, freezer, and pantry space for me. Theres a cash-only fruit stand outside, a village vibe, steps from the East River, and an easy 10-min walk to the Q train. Mostly independent living with light interaction. Helpful to know: Bed is full size Work-from-home allowed in room only BYO towel & toilet paper WiFi works well Roommate Joanne requests no bath mat, towel/trash storage, or items left in bathroom due to scent sensitivities Close front door gently (her room shakes) Shoes-on household Sammy mentioned considering a cleaner and cozier communal setup in the future
