The little town of Hoodsport has a small town feel, but is only 20 minutes from Shelton. It is on the water, with everything you need from a town while still feeling the peace of being out in nature. There is a grocery store, a coffee shop, an Ace Hardware, multiple restaurants and great people. The culture of Hood Canal is like no other. Just wait until you see an orca pass by while an eagle grabs a fish!
