Mixed feelings!

The landlords were lovely and we had a great stay. However, a month after leaving I received my security deposit with $800+ deducted due to "beyond normal wear and tear" on the space. I have been traveling for 4 years and have rented 9 furnished spaces and I have NEVER been charged anywhere near this. I was expecting a couple hundred taken out for surface cleaning that needed done. As I didn't do it myself due to being pregnant and trying to avoid harsh chemicals. I was told I could leave the dirty towels and linen in a pile. But was charged for those too. The towels were white and had makeup on them. I would recommend bringing your own towels or bleaching them yourself. No broom, mop, or vacuum provided. I would also recommend taking pictures of any scratches, chips, or tears on any of the walls, appliances, furniture, or pillows. As I was charged damages that were there when I arrived.
