Renter Beware

I did a short term rental due to having a 13 wk contract of employment. On day 2, the landlord tried to strong arm me into paying 1/2 for a locksmith. It turned out she only had 1 key when there were 2 different locks on my door. She never disclosed that the 1 key did not work for both locks. There were MANY other issues over the course of the 13 wks. My lease stated the landlord had 10 days to make claim against my security deposit should there be any damages. I have extensive photos showing the apartment zero damage and was in fact left cleaner than when I moved in. As of today, it has been 21 days without any communication while I still await the return of my security deposit.
