Spacious, peaceful upstairs suite

I loved my one month stay in this peaceful, private upstairs suite with its comfortable king bed, rocking chair, terrific walk in closet, bathroom with front and back mirrors, great A/C, and wonderful deck shaded by lovely trees. I often enjoyed morning tea or a meal sitting on the deck looking at the mountains and nearby gardens. I appreciate all the thoughtful touches, including an electric kettle and mini-fridge, ample drawer space and good lighting. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything needed for cooking meals. Rebecca provided lots of fridge and cupboard space for my supplies. She was very hospitable and we had interesting chats. The location was great; I often walked to town or on the bike trails. I can highly recommend this place and hope to return!

Amazing experience

I had the most amazing and safe experience in this room rental. I got a new job in Ashland and needed a place to stay for about five months until my family could join me here. First, as a woman, finding a place to stay where I felt safe was extremely important and I found that here. The physical space itself was very large. The bed was super comfortable, I loved having my own bathroom, and I had all the space I needed. I always had access to the kitchen and the living room, and the house is in a great location! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Great place to call home

Loved our stay in this private upstairs suite! The entire top floor was ours, including a spacious bedroom, bathroom, and closet, which made it feel like our own little retreat. The highlight was definitely the private deckwatching the sunrise with coffee and unwinding at sunset with mountain views was pure magic. The shared areas downstairs (kitchen, laundry, etc.) were super convenient and always clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. What really stood out was how comfortable and natural everything feltit was like being laid-back roommates and not at all like awkwardly staying in someone else's house where you feel out of place. We truly felt like we could make ourselves at home in this place that was peaceful, comfortable, and perfectly located. Rebecca was amazing and anyone that chooses here as their next stay will find a great place to call home!

Safe landing

My husband and I rented from Rebecca after being evacuated from our home due to wildfire. Rebecca welcomed us and our 2 dogs and 3 cats in a time we really needed a calm place to land. She encouraged us to build a catio so our cats would be comfortable. The bedrooms and bath we rented was private for us. Shared parts of the house where comfortable to use. Rebecca was understanding of our request if we needed things altered. The house was clean and well maintained. I am sensitive to sented cleaners and Rebecca was happy to alter her cleaning supplies durning our stay. We will be forever grateful for the time we spend in this house and the comfortable calm welcoming environment it provided durning a very chaotic period. We rentered for 6 months and the experience was worth every penny.
