Frustrating stay

We stayed at this property for 4 months while relocating with our young child. The location is convenient, but our experience was frustrating due to ongoing maintenance issues and slow response from the owner. Two weeks in, the dryer required 3–4 cycles to work. We reported it and suggested a clogged vent (a fire hazard), but there was a 5-week delay before any action was taken. A handyman replaced the dryer, but the issue continued. Nearly a month later, a bird’s nest and heavy lint buildup were found in the vent. Even after that, the dryer still needed multiple cycles and damaged some of our clothes. We also had a water outage near the end of our stay and had to contact the water company for resolution ourselves. Communication required repeated follow-ups, maintenance visits often lacked proper notice, and the owner entered unannounced before move-out. While polite at times, there was little urgency. We would not recommend this rental.

I've traveled for over 12 years and Matt is the nicest landlord I have ever had. Anytime I needed something he was on it. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to most things. I can't say enough about how great a landlord Matt is and he just renovated the townhouse. It has a small fenced in backyard and sidewalks all around the neighborhood to walk if you have a pet.
