This centrally located area is walkable to the State Capitol and Kaiser Permanente Hospitals, walkable and bikeable to Sutter General Hospitals, and bikeable and drivable to UC Davis Medical Center and Mercy General Hospitals. The quiet, tree-lined street has ample parking and a relaxing atmosphere but is walkable to multiple shops and restaurants and all that midtown and downtown Sacramento have to offer!
Old but fairly well renovated
Well located in walkable downtown area with tree cover. The renovations have reasonably reasonably modernized an old apartment. Host provided additional furniture and supplies at our request. Recycling and composting exist. Further improvements would make the place even better: (1) Gap between main door and frame lets outside air in, which increases your heating or cooling expense. (We paid about $100/mo.) It could be plugged or the door shimmed. (2) Knob lock key is not provided, and lock has not been disabled, so you must remember on exiting to UNLOCK it, or you will lock yourself out and pay the $100 fee shown in the lease. Disabling the lock by removing the control knob would help. (3) There are enough purely decorative items in the unit to substantially decrease the amount of usable space. They could be pruned. (4) The solid-waste regime (who takes which bins when out to the street and brings them back) could be settled and documented so you know what is expected.
Great little place
Very positive experience in renting this unit for a short term. Landlord was great to work with. Nice little neighborhood with a bunch in walking distance. Was perfect for fitting my short term needs.
