The Quiet Blue Beach House
A wall of windows letting in the changing sunlight over ocean views. Nestled in with a book and a glass of wine by the cozy wood stove. The sound of birdsong and surf through the quiet in the secluded Muir Beach cove. Enjoying the hidden beach or exploring the mountain hikes. It's the idyllic barefoot beach house complete with outdoor shower, porch, privacy, and vacation vibes calm. Thank you to Nat & Lauren, the kindest and most helpful hosts. It was so hard to leave! Can't wait to visit again!

Magical Muir Beach
Lauren and Nat are truly delightful, and I’m so grateful for every moment I spent living in Muir Beach—it was an absolute dream. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly responsive, generous, and genuinely helpful, which made settling in feel effortless. The property itself is something special—a true sanctuary. It’s peaceful, serene, and exceptionally clean. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean each night was pure magic. The surrounding community only adds to the experience. The neighbors are kind, welcoming, and caring—it’s a place filled with really wonderful people. The drive is absolutely worth it for the time you get to spend in Muir Beach. I can’t recommend this stay enough. If you have the opportunity to stay under Lauren and Nat’s roof, don’t miss it.

A unique retreat with amazing views!
I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this cozy in-law unit in Muir Beach for three months. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, the layout spacious, and the ocean views from every window were stunning. Hearing the waves day and night felt like a soothing lullaby. As the first tenant, clear communication was essential, and Nat was kind, responsive, and generous with support. The road to the house is long and winding, with fog and darkness at night, but I adjusted quickly. It truly feels like a peaceful retreat in nature. Theres a heater and a wood-burning stove, plus a washer and dryer in-unit, a clothing rack, and plenty of drawers. You may hear some footsteps from above, but nothing disruptive. Its a special, secluded place, and I would absolutely return. Enjoy it as I did
