This is a basement apartment that has a studio feel to it. The entrance is through the drive way gate and into our backyard. The door is a shared door but the apartment leads downstairs to your private space. A great size closet, full kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Keep in mind the closet height is 6 feet, and the shower head the same. These two things might feel a bit awkward for a person above 5'8".

Cozy and Convenient Spot
I stayed with Erica and Ash for a month in October while doing a rotation at the University of Utah and had a wonderful experience. Commuting was very easy, even without a car. I did have a car but mostly took the streetcar, which is free with a university badge and took about 22 minutes door to door (a 10-minute walk and a 12-minute ride, with drop-off right at the medical center). Erica and Ash were so welcoming and fun to be around. The chickens, dog, and cats were all very friendly, and the garden is beautiful. My fianc worked 100% remotely from the room without any issues. The neighborhood is very walkable, with grocery stores, cute bookstores, coffee shops, and even downtown within easy reach. The space is newly renovated and clearly a labor of love, the interior design is beautiful. We loved our stay and highly recommend it!
