Neighborhood overview
Our Salida house is in a very family friendly neighborhood that stays fairly quiet. Most of our neighbors are longterm residents of Salida. The house is 2 blocks from Alpine park that hosts the farmers market, has basketball courts, a playground for the kids, and plenty of lounging grass. We're a 5 min walk to 1st street and another minute or two to the Arkansas River. It's a wonderful neighborhood and convenient location.
