Perfect Location

I really enjoyed working with the management company and the location of the apartment was perfect. The apartment was perfect for me since I was a traveling nurse on third shift and since it's on the second floor, I didn't have to worry about anyone above me making noise. 100% recommend the management company, this apartment, and staying in Cedar Rapids for an assignment.

Amazing Location

Just finished up a stay here with my girlfriend who was a traveling nurse over at St. Luke's and the area was great. The home is older, but the remodel inside was perfect and most importantly, the part of town this was in was amazing. Felt super safe with the police department nearby and it also being insulated by the highway and the downtown. Plus, the property management company was on it.

Still being renovated

Place is older building, unsafe, outlets make no sense, apartment is slanted so things roll, they have furniture placed on top of wall space heaters which is unsafe with warning stickers scratched out. This is not even all the concerns I addressed while there and before moving out in 10 days after signing a 90 day lease. They cared more about making sure they got their money after I left than anything for the rest of which I did not stay. Even though I signed the lease stupidly and found many things to be unsafe, they didn't care and took the money. Feel like its more apex property management fault versus the person listing on here.

The building is an older property, which was fully disclosed prior to lease signing, but it has passed all required inspections and is considered safe and habitable. At the time of move-in and throughout occupancy, there were no unresolved safety violations noted. Electrical outlets, floor leveling, and heating systems were all in working order and compliant with applicable standards. Regarding the wall heaters, clear safety warnings were present. Any placement of personal furniture near or on heating elements occurred after move-in and was not done by our team. Residents are advised not to obstruct heaters, as outlined in standard safety guidance provided at move-in. While we understand that the apartment ultimately did not meet your personal preferences, the lease was voluntarily executed for a 90-day term, and the early move-out occurred approximately 10 days later. Rent obligations during that period were handled in accordance with the signed lease agreement. Our intent is always to ensure safe housing and fair, transparent communication. We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations, but we believe it is important to distinguish between personal dissatisfaction and factual safety concerns.
