Staying at this short-term rental was exactly what our family needed for a peaceful transition back to Illinois. Tucked away in a wooded area, the property offers a quiet, private atmosphere that feels removed from the noise of everyday life, yet still has all the conveniences you’d want. Our children especially loved being surrounded by the wooded setting, and we appreciated that it still felt close to everything we needed! The home itself is well-equipped, with all utilities included, which made the stay completely hassle-free. One of the standout aspects of this stay was the host. Ed's communication was excellent from start to finish—quick responses, clear instructions, and a genuine willingness to help with anything that came up. It made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with dependable amenities and a host who truly cares about your stay, this is a fantastic choice.

Country-like

We were fortunate to rent this home from Ed for two years, and we have had no issues. The home is situated peacefully on a wooded lot and has a country-like feel. It is also within minutes of everything you'd need for daily living. We felt like we were getting the best of two worlds. The home's interior is inviting with upscale appliances and tempurpedic mattresses which made for a great night's sleep. We found the home to be safe and secure and had no issues there. When we needed to reach the landlord, we were able to do so. We never felt like we were a bother. Ed is excellent at problem solving, and he was prompt in resolving any issues that arose. He stayed involved but also respected our privacy and worked with our neeeds. He is easy to communicate with; and at the end of a two year period, I can sincerely say we are better for the experience. We highly recommend.

Close to everything, yet private.

As my title infers, the home is close to everything you might need, and private because the property is large with lots of trees and next to Forest Preserve land. It also has another park across the street that is great for walks, runs, and rides. The home's inside is loaded with high end appliances. The shower also stands out as great too. I loved my time in this unique home and would recommend it to anyone who likes what I shared.
