location and apartment is good . landlord works to make things right and is nice.

Absolutely perfect for traveling healthcare workers

So at first I was a little skeptical since it’s an older building in an older neighborhood etc…but I could not have been more wrong, location is very convenient to the highway and all the major hospitals in the Des Moines metro, it is pet friendly, great green space across the street for dog walking or quick trips to pottie, the units are very quiet, well appointed and basically turn key, just bring your scrubs and maybe some bath towels and you’re set to go…seriously the owner is a joy to work with and has thought of everything. The building is walking distance to a great bar/.burger spot, a cute park, two different coffee places and a good pizza spot, otherwise it’s a 5-10 minute easy drive for groceries, gas, pharmacy, etc and downtown is literally 15 minutes away with a wealth of dog friendly spots when the weather gets better. I’ve been travel nursing on and off since 2016 and this is hands down one of the best places I have stayed. 10/10 definitely recommend.
