The house is located in a mellow part of Highland Park. There are tons of bars and restaurants less then 5 minutes away, but it's far enough from the action that there isn't any neighborhood drama. It's a family neighborhood - lots of old folks hanging out on their porch and gardening...lots of people walking their dogs and babies. We are very close to an elementary school so you can hear kids playing during recess.
