Fantastic Homer Escape
I stayed here as a travel nurse during the winter, very much like a Colorado winter, lots of sunny weather, cold, dry and a blizzard here or there. There's a nearby lookout spot to see the whole peninsula and the nearby islands. The carport was awesome for the winter so that it cut down on all the snow scraping especially during night surgical call! The Landlords live next door and are wonderful hosts and the one bedroom space is great for one or two. The furniture and bed are super comfy, the kitchen is spacious and a joy to cook in. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
