The Surf & Sand Studio

Highly recommend!!

I stayed in this studio for 3 months while completing a clinical rotation. The pictures speak for themselves, it is such a cute space! It is less than 10 minutes from the hospital, close to downtown, and a short drive to Wrightsville Beach! The studio has a large closet with drawers for clothes and additional storage in the bathroom. There is a smart tv so you can log onto any streaming services, plenty of towels and all the kitchen supplies you need. Right outside your door is access to a large washer and dryer which is super convenient! And lastly Beth is a great host! She was super kind and communicative throughout my stay. Can't recommend this place enough!

So Grateful for My Time Here

I stayed in this studio for a couple of months during a year of travel, transition and remote work. The studio is brand new. It is comfortable and designed really well. It has lots of sun! It is a quiet neighborhood but you can walk to anything you need. The shower and huge bathroom rocks. It was an ideal set up for me to work remotely. But most of all, you could not have a more kind or thoughtful host. Beth, thank you for letting me stay. I feel lucky for this chapter. Any traveler will be lucky to find your place and stay. :-)

October Stay

I stayed in the studio the month of October. This was the perfect studio apartment! The location was perfect for a short walk to the historic downtown Wilmington. The beach was about 15-20 minutes away. The space itself had a comfortable bed that has the ability to fold away when not in use creating more space in the living area. I utilized the corner desk for my work that had the most beautiful sun. The space offers an abundance of natural light with nice blinds when drawn block out any light for peaceful rest. I had plenty of closet space and storage for both clothes, blankets, towels, kitchen supplies and so on. The bathroom is massive with a large shower. It also has a deep closet again for additional storage. The overall studio feels very safe and private. The entrance from the back is convenient to the parking spot. The neighborhood is quiet yet still very close to several restaurants, coffee shops and bars. I enjoyed mostly the peaceful & calm environment of the studio.
