Wanted out early

During my stay, the landladys son, who lived in the house behind the rental, repeatedly made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. He screamed profanity and threatened to stomp my 9-lb dachshund after my dog got near the chickens while I was already trying to catch him. He later joked about burying my dog, made inappropriate comments about his animals sex lives, threatened to put me on a chore chart, entered my home without my knowledge, and dismissed the month-long lack of hot water until I bought a thermometer to prove it. Packages were also left on my car in the rain despite a covered porch nearby. The property also had ongoing ant issues. The landlady often failed to notify me before people entered the home and only told me 2.5 weeks before move-out that rent would not be prorated, forcing me to leave midweek or pay a nightly rate not listed in the lease. I spent my final month anxious and feeling unsafe, and I would not stay there again, especially as a single woman or pet owner.

Amazing location

This cottage is really cute, quiet and a dog's dream! Located in the heart of Kerrville, close to everything you need! it's situated behind the main house, on a good size property. the back yard is beautiful, and your fur babies will love it! It's fenced in, no worry about safety, the dogs can roam for hours and be safe. The owner is super sweet and very responsive. The internet is very strong if you work remotely. This place has everything you need, for a short or very long stay.
