Lovely Home Away From Home
What a gem James' unit is. This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Oakland - extremely walkable, down the street from the beautiful Rose Garden, and close enough to enjoy Oakland's wine bars, farmers market, movie theater, but still feel peace and quiet at home. We woke up daily to hummingbirds on the patio, and the neighbors in the building were extremely friendly. James is an awesome host. He's responsive and friendly, which made us feel comfortable and welcome in his space. Highly recommend this place to see what the Oakland/Piedmont area has to offer.

Great apartment! Great location! Great time!
An amazing apartment and great location! We stayed here for over 4 months for our Oakland debut, and fell in love with the spot. It is located on a safe and quiet street with family homes around, great parking, beautiful rose garden, and quick walk to food/grocery (Piedmont Ave or Grand Ave) or (for my fellow healthcare workers) a 17 minute walk to Kaiser. Plenty of space in the apartment, with a beautiful kitchen. The host, James, was always easy to get in touch with and very friendly, giving us multiple great recommendations in Oakland. Cannot recommend this spot enough!
