Wonderful Stay

What a great place! We are so glad we got to stay at Safe Harbor. For the two of us it was simply great - so comfortable, so well appointed. From the standard of the accommodation and furnishings to the hosts themselves, we couldn't have asked for more. Safe Harbor was our home from home for the duration of our stay. If our kids remain in Ambridge, we would very much hope to be able to stay at Safe Harbor again.

Lovely Home

I stayed here for four weeks for one of my rotations and I loved it. Kim and Bill were both great hosts and they were nearby so if I needed anything they were within reach, however I still felt I had enough privacy while staying there. The place is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious and it had everything I needed to cook and clean with. It has two ACs and two strong ceiling fans that will keep you cool. I did not have an issue with parking, I always managed to find a spot on the same street. There are a few shops within walking distance so if I needed anything I could just walk over and get it. The rental is about a 25 to 30 minute drive from Pittsburgh and Wexford, so not too far from the city or hospitals. The only issue I had was the smoke/CO2 detector going off late at night but Kim and Bill are both aware and working on fixing that. I've already recommended the rental to a few other students!

A Welcoming Home in Ambridge

My wife and I stayed at Safety Harbor for two weeks while I worked in person at Trinity Anglican Seminary, and it was an excellent fit for our needs. The apartment was clean, thoughtfully decorated with a maritime theme, and well equipped for a longer stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, full kitchen, washer and dryer, and reliable temperature control that kept the space cool during the summer. The location was great-only a 10 to 12 minute walk to TAS, with pleasant places to walk nearby. Although there were restaurants in the area, we mostly cooked at home. The apartment felt new and was quiet at night, and street parking worked fine for us. What truly stood out was the hospitality of Bill and Kim. Bill was attentive even before we asked, offering thoughtful help like umbrellas on rainy days and assistance with transportation. Their communication was always clear, warm, and friendly. We highly recommend Safety Harbor to anyone staying in Ambridge.

Safe Haven

The Apartment was clean, and well maintained. Kim was a great host and kept me informed of maintenance happening in a timely manner. My only draw back was on street tight parking, there were days I had to park down the block.
