The Sunny Studio Changed Me

Many of us know that most rentals look better in the pictures, but the Sunny Studio is even more beautiful in person. The decor is rustic and clean, the use of space is optimal, and the warm lighting that comes in from every direction makes the whole place feel like it wraps around you. I cooked daily, both inside and on the deck grill, and the huge memory-foam bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Outside is idyllic. Pulling in feels like entering a painting. Deer, turkeys, owls and other wildlife bring Carmel Valley to life, all visible from the huge front windows and elevated private deck. One caveat: roosters live beneath the deck and crow very early. I'm sensitive to noise, but closed windows and a fan handled it well-and eventually I grew fond of them. The free eggs help! This was the final stop of five years living on the road. What I found here helped me realize I wanted a home of my own, and home is where I am now. Still, this place was so hard to leave.
