BEWARE!

The casita has its charms, but please beware! I am a seasoned airbnb renter, highly rated by over 20 hosts. I always leave a rental as clean or cleaner than I found it, and never leave a mess when I stay with my cats - thus, my 100% great reviews on there. This casita was my first FF and the dirtiest rental I've ever found myself in, including rat and roach droppings in the kitchen. Throw in broken screen doors, dog dookie and rusty nails in the yard, and a noisy, broken heater for my entire time there. I spent 3 hours deep cleaning the entire place before I moved out, leaving it cleaner - and safer (I repaired the doors) - than when I moved in. The one thing I tried but couldn't complete was a small bit of vacuuming, which I let the landlord know about - due to her vacuum cleaner that was already broken. She then tried to bill me for additional cleaning (!) and for repairing her vacuum cleaner. Save yourself the hassle, and find another place in this awesome city.
