Awful place

Lived here for a week, thankfully I found a new place to live quickly. Wifi didn't reach my room, had to share a bathroom with 2 other people and room was smaller than the pictures. Home owners were very controlling. Had to be in my room by 8pm. Couldn't cook, do laundry, or make any noise past curfew. Living room and dinning room were completely off limits. They expect you to fit all your food in a mini fridge and microwave in your room. The home owners had family or friends over all day, everyday, so they made it very clear they you are expected to be in your room at all times. Stayed up until 10pm and talked to my roommate in the kitchen and next day, the daughter of homeowners was cussing me out. Hands down the worst people Ive ever met. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

We are very sorry to hear that this was your experience. We take pride in providing a comfortable, respectful environment for all of our tenants, many of whom are travel nurses and professionals who have left us positive feedback over the years. To clarify a few important points: The shared bathroom arrangement was clearly communicated prior to move-in. You viewed the room in person before agreeing to rent and were aware of the shared spaces at that time. At no point were you told that you needed to be in your room by 8pm, nor were you ever restricted from cooking or using the laundry. The only request made as is common in shared living environments was that laundry not be run past 9pm due to noise affecting other tenants whose rooms are located near the laundry area. We provide a mini fridge and microwave inside the room for convenience. In addition, you were given designated cabinet space in the kitchen for extra food storage, which you did use. We have never required anyones food to fit solely in the mini fridge. Regarding the home environment, this is a family-owned home where family may visit. However, tenants are renting a private room with access to agreed-upon shared spaces. No tenant has ever been told or expected to remain in their room at all times. That assumption was never communicated or implied. Lastly, it is very concerning to read the claim that our daughter used inappropriate language toward you. That did not occur. She reached out the following day only to respectfully request that noise levels be lowered after 10pm, as a courtesy to other tenants who were sleeping.
