Nicely Decorated but Inaccurate Amenities and Undisclosed Fees

The host responds quickly to inquiries, and the living room is decorated very nicely. However, prospective tenants should be aware of several issues. The listing advertised free onsite parking and included photos suggesting a private parking area, but only street parking was available, often requiring circling nearby streets multiple times, especially on weekends. There was also mildew in the washing machine, and the bedroom and bathroom doors could lock if closed too firmly. I was locked out at one point and had to use a credit card to get back in because replacement keys were unavailable. At move-out, the host deducted $130 from my deposit for standard appliance cleaning and alleged stains despite no upfront cleaning fees being disclosed. Some concerns were also attributed to pet hair, even though a non-refundable $100 pet fee had already been paid. I recommend taking detailed photos and videos at move-in and move-out.
