A hard place to leave

We stayed four months relocating from Hawaii to Nashville, and the May House was exactly the soft landing we needed. Safe, quiet neighborhood, no busy streets, genuinely friendly neighbors. Location is a real strength — Sprouts is 10 minutes away, big-box shops about 5, and you're 10–15 minutes from East Nashville and downtown. Getting anywhere was a breeze. The house is beautifully done — modern and updated but warm and cozy. Comfortable beds, generous storage, a separate laundry room, spotless appliances, and serious fridge space (a bigger deal than it sounds for a long stay). Out back there's a yard, BBQ, and firepit — perfect for a family. Afton was in contact throughout the recent ice storm making sure we had everything — that kind of hosting made the situation feel completely taken care of. Afton is a big part of what makes the May House worth coming back to. Peace, comfort, and practicality in one place — you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Nashville home base.
