This circa 1915 fourplex is a real gem that complements the eclectic housing stock offered throughout this acclaimed neighborhood. "Agnese," the building name is derived from a Greek word meaning "pure" which is fitting as its retained much of its original beauty over the past century with hardwood floors, detailed millwork, high ceilings and large front porches. Love it here!
I stayed here on contract at a nearby hospital during a horrible winter, and this cozy apartment made my stay so much better! The amenities are wonderful and kept in great condition. There are cute artsy touches that the owner, Michael, has thoughtfully put around the apartment that feel intentional and bring life to the space. There are other long term tenants in the building that were kind and welcoming, and the neighborhood was very walkable with a great local book shop and multiple restaurants nearby. I had an amazing few months here and would highly recommend!
A Month at the Agnese
The Agnese AirBnb on Cleveland's near west side sits directly across the street from a public garden and provides a wonderful front porch, with rocking chairs, so we could enjoy the fresh air and our neighbors. The two bedroom apartment was clean, roomy and had plenty of "niceties". The kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed. Living areas came with a large TV, record player and a great selection of 33 RPM records. The unique artwork throughout the apartment was a surprise! Enjoyed daily workouts in the fully loaded gym in; never missed a beat regarding my daily exercise routine. Lots of nearby historical sites and the famous (and haunted) Franklin and The Westside Market. Nearby is Edgewater Park on Lake Erie. Cleveland Agnese Apt. Stay
I loved my two extended stays at this welcoming, mid-century furnished flat. Its spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and full of charm with clean lines, warm wood tones, and local art. The cozy master bedroom had a quality queen mattress, great storage, and handy luggage racks. The second bedroom was smaller but comfortable with a double mattress and desk. The living room had recliners, a couch, multifunctional tables, games, a record player with Bluetooth, and a 65 smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar were perfect. Extras included bikes, a gym with a Cleveland mural, washer/dryer, and a covered porch with rocking chairs. The location is great, close to restaurants, shopping, and light rail. The host is friendly and responsive, and communication was seamless. I highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable, stylish Cleveland stay. Karen
