Charming & Quiet Cottage
I loved staying at Sam's cottage in this quaint and historic neighborhood near downtown Houston. It was close to the medical center, so my commute was usually about 15-25 minutes. I work night shifts, so I appreciated how quiet the bedroom was during the daytime hours. Even though there is a highway nearby, you could not hear the traffic from inside the cottage. The kitchen is tiny but suited my busy lifestyle perfectly. The bathroom has lots of handy shelves for storage. One of my favorite things about this cottage is that it is tucked away in the backyard behind Sam's house. I often saw or heard birds which was very relaxing. I loved watching two of Sam's cats as they explored the backyard. I wish I had found this place sooner. Sam was an awesome landlord as he was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. I can't recommend this place enough, and if I end up back in Houston for another work contract, I would love to stay here again.
