Average Stay Beware of Extra Utilities

Comfortable stay, but watch out for unexpected fees and initial cleanliness issues. Safe area, with convenient access to a nearby bus stop. Although advertised as "utilities included," I was charged $362 in excess energy fees from my security deposit at checkout for a 3-month summer stay. When I requested proof of customary usage limits, electric bills, or confirmation of whether the downstairs unit had a separate meter, the host refused to provide any documentation. Additionally, was charged $200 cleaning fee a month. total $600 only had cleaning twice in 3 month stay. Was told last cleaning was after we moved out. Walls are thin; could hear everything from downstairs unit, and when they would go in, or the alarm in the top unit would sound that the door opened even though it was a separate unit. Barely anything to cook with and no dishes. We got a set and left them. Only two towels on arrival so pack your own.

Solid stay, couple issues

I stayed here for about 11 weeks. The unit looks like the pictures, except the bathroom layout isn't quite as the pictures depict. The advertised amenities were all available. The unit was clean at move-in, but there was an issue with the linens, which was resolved the next day. Adebayo was very responsive, easy to communicate with, and quick to address issues. The location is walkable, about a 5-minute drive to grocery stores, a 20-minute walk to the train station, and the bus stop is right across the street. There aren't really any restaurants nearby since it's more of a residential area. It's a quiet neighborhood, but you can hear neighbors upstairs due to thinner walls, and you don't get to control the temperature, so it's whatever they set upstairs. Wifi can be spotty in certain areas of the unit, especially near the couch or bathroom (little to no signal there). Overall, I felt very safe.

Nice place to live

I had a good stay at this apartment! The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and everything I needed nearby. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and felt very welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay.
