This is my personal home and furnished in a thoughtful way for comfort and relaxation. There is an infrared sauna available for use. You will find the fenced backyard well cared for with perennial gardens, privacy, surrounded by old growth maple and oak trees and a mix of shade and sun.
Space
This space easily accommodates a couple or individual. There is one bedroom, two bathrooms and ample storage for clothing and personal items. There is a living room and a den/dojo. And plenty of space for one or two work from home folks. There is a large fenced back yard with mature flower beds, a grill/off-set smoker. There is an infrared sauna on the property available for use by tenants.
Neighborhood overview
Walkable to groceries, coffee, restaurants, two hospitals. Bus stops and bike paths are very close. This is one of Madisons niche neighborhoods, close to downtown but still a comfy neighborhood feeling.

Lovely house, even lovelier host
I stayed here for a little over 3 months when I first moved to Madison. The house was excellent! The artwork and decor are fascinating; the kitchen has everything you could want; plenty of space; good street parking. Also... the sauna during my first Wisconsin Winter was incredible. Beyond that, the renter, Christian, who was staying in the basement space was one of the most interesting and fun people I've met; we immediately became friends. The host, Martha, was extremely accommodating, kind, and thoughtful. The house is an extension of her and it was an excellent stay. Martha and I have remained friends and I highly recommend staying at her home.
