Quiet Cottage Near the Coast
Sweet cottage walking distance to coast, redone. As expected. House was ready on time, easy check in/out. Bay views - living room, sidewalk, deck. Quiet neighborhood, clean house, beds comfortable enough, sharp knives, hot water, street parking, closet space, good bathroom towels, some soaps/cleaning supplies to get started, good internet. Plenty of room for our belongings and groceries. Their communication before/during stay was quick, helpful, kind. Sunset walks to see sea otters (binoculars), up to 16 at a time. Check out Harbor Seal Observation Area. The coast along Monterey Peninsula is gorgeous, windy/cold evenings. Get a 1 month membership at the Monterey Sports Center. Lots of sea lions at San Carlos Beach. Tide Pooling at The Great Tide Pool in PG. The drive on 17-mile Drive had a toll of $12.50, great views. Fantastic Monterey Bay Whale Watch trip. PG visitor center-free brochures. Monterey Aquarium; yr membership, enjoy several trips (check for free street parking).
