Nice house but terrible landlord

A coworker and I travel for work and tried this house out since it was rented monthly. It was nice except for having a landlord that refuses to text message or make phone calls. The only form of communication we got was email and it would take days to get a response. During our stay we had to move out for a weekend due to air BNB bookings which was very inconvenient and we did not get reimbursed for our weekend away because the house was not left in hotel ready condition and when we returned to the home it was neither hotel ready condition. The landlord never renewed the lease contract after our first month and just refused to communicate with tenants. If you want a place where you move out unexpectedly and have to pay a cleaning fee as well as clean the house you've found your place. If you want a landlord that communicates or will be of honest integrity you need to keep looking. The house is not worth the trouble and headache the landlord and Airbnb bookings cause.
