Outstanding Rental and Owners

The property is located on a pecan farm in a safe, quiet neighborhood near shopping and medical facilities. It's fenced all around and gated for extra safety. Equipped with solar panels and good lighting there's plenty of room on the property to walk our dogs and enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio. Our apartment is a lovely furnished one bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, all linens and tiled floors. All utilities are included with no limit. The owners are a charming and accommodating professional couple who also live in Las Cruces. They respond rapidly to questions and maintenance issues keeping the property clean and well maintained. The other tenants are busy professionals primarily in the medical field. We have enjoyed staying in such a quiet and congenial atmosphere and highly recommend renting a unit on the property.

A Perfect, Private Oasis!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, secluded casita. Located at the back of the property, it offered perfect privacy and felt like a quiet oasis with a good view of the pecan trees.The owners are incredibly nice, professional, and attentive. They treated us with wonderful warmth, looked after us well, and ensured we had everything we needed.The casita was immaculate, featuring a fresh, newly painted interior. Both the living area and bedroom were remarkably spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to easily cook and bake. We also loved the bathroom setup-the shower worked perfectly with hot and cold water, and we were provided with essential toiletries, new towels, and new bedding.If you are looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway with all the comforts of home, we highly recommend this casita!

Horrible

I would not recommend this stay. The unit was run down and not well maintained, with several items being very old and not functioning properly. Communication with the landlord was inconsistent and incredibly unprofessional. There were unclear or changing expectations regarding additional charges, including a fee every night for having a visitor in a place that you're paying rent and a utility threshold where additional electric costs would be billed beyond what was initially described as included. At move-out, there was a dispute over the condition of the unit despite my providing photo documentation that everything was exactly as it was when I moved in. Landlord would not meet up for a check-out inspection. She violated all terms and agreements. She will refuse to return your security deposit and I ultimately had to pursue legal action to recover it. Overall, the experience did not reflect what was advertised and was not at all worth the cost.
