HORRIBLE!!!!

I am a seasoned travel nurse who has done several furnished finders and have never had any issues until I encountered this place. When I arrived this place was disgusting! It looked like it’s never been cleaned! There were nasty stains on the couch, the pillow cases had other people’s grease on it and to top it off we found drugs on the property and that’s not even scratching the surface of other things we found. The person that owns this place isn’t even in state so she couldn’t care less if the place looks good or not she’s just worried about making money. Due to this situation I was homeless and had to find an alternative place to live within 24 hours and start an assignment the same week, it was a total nightmare!!!

While I do respect Irene's opinions, I want to clarify a few important things. Prior to her arrival, I was advised by my cleaning service that the property was properly cleaned and ready for check-in. When I was notified, I acknowledged her concerns regarding the property not meeting expectations upon arrival and took responsibility. I offered to have the unit professionally cleaned and to cover the cost of a hotel stay while this was addressed. These options were declined, and the tenant chose not to stay. Although a lease had already been signed, I promptly returned all funds in full. I did not keep the first months rent, deposit or charge any lease termination fees. The claim of being homeless was the result of a personal decision to decline offered remedies. The statement that I was only concerned about money is incorrect, as evidenced by the full and immediate refund. While I do reside out of state, I made every reasonable effort to resolve the situation quickly and in good faith. It is unfortunate that this could not be resolved despite my attempts. I would encourage anyone to view home in-person first before making a decision.
