The Homestead House is a lovely quiet 1894 Victorian apt building just a short walk to OHSU Hospital and the VA Medical Center. You will love the location, ease of taking public transit and avoiding parking fees (OHSU charges for parking too) and proximity to downtown without being in the fray. This 1894 Victorian farm house was one of the first homes on Marquam Hill and was likely converted into apartments in the 1960's. It's very grandma core and cozy with a lovely flower garden in Spring. No parking on premises but you can get a parking permit from the city online. Easy walk to OHSU and VA and the bus line is around the corner. If you bring a car to Portland, you will be paying for parking everywhere including OHSU....
