Renter beware.

I was excited to rent this property for the summer as my wife and daughter were coming out to see me while I worked in Chaparral, NM. The owner Steven is very pushy and has monitoring devices all over the house. It was understood that I needed to rent for 4 to 5 months and not more than 30 days into the stay I was told that I had to move out by May 31st. Steven also then tried to add multiple addendums about smoking outside whose was never outlined in the original lease. The treatment and Steven overbearing nature forced me to just cut my losses and move out. I had the property professionally cleaned and yet Steven is saying that the property was not cleaned correctly and that "additional " remediation and air scrubbing was needed. The owner is sketchy and will fabricate lies to attempt to keep or minimize your deposit. I have lived in 3 places in El Paso and have NEVER smoked in an apartment nor home. Yet Steven is attempting to fabricate a story. DO NOT RENT!!!!!!!!!
