Location, location, location
My husband and I stayed 19 days at Layla's homey cottage. Location is superlative with wonderful variety of restaurants, markets, ice cream shops, cafes, and book stores within walking distance. Safe and beautiful neighborhood. Layla is a wonderful host...great communication and very responsive. The cottage is bright and cheery with tasteful/high quality linens and dish/cookware. Comfy bed and sofa. We especially loved the large deck and nicely landscaped backyard. Highly recommend!

Perfect location in the heart of Rockridge
I'm a traveling nurse- stayed here about 6 weeks during the early spring with my fiance who works from home and we loved this little spot. The area is super walkable, safe, and has endless restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Very close to transit (BART/ AC Bus) so you can get to pretty much everything without a vehicle. There is a parking spot for one car- it's a little tight, but we were able to get a Ford Ranger in there. The street is relatively quiet, but here is a little occasional noise from surrounding neighbor kids, garbage trucks etc. as this is a busy shopping area. The condo itself is really cute and has been thoughtfully laid out. It's well stocked for everything you would need for a long -term stay. Layla is a wonderful hostess and was attentive to any needs we had during out stay. I highly recommend this space for working professionals needing a place for a few months!

Quiet, convenient, well-managed
I stayed here for a month while working in the Bay Area. It was an easy and comfortable place to have a home base. It is set up well for a longer stay. The layout works well for daily life. It's basically a duplex bungalow. You enter into a spacious living room, then a separate bedroom space, a sunny kitchen with an attached utility laundry room, and a lovely private back patio and garden. The location is great--in a calm and quiet pocket, yet just steps from everything on College Ave, including food, groceries and excellent transit and freeway access. Communication with the host was smooth and respectful throughout. They were available whenever I needed them but otherwise gave me plenty of space, which I really appreciated. I'd happily stay here again.
