7th Street on the West Side of Petaluma is a quiet, established residential corridor that reflects the character the area is known for: historic charm, walkability, and a strong sense of community. Lined with mature trees and a mix of early-20th-century homes and thoughtfully updated residences, the street feels relaxed and neighborly. Just 7 blocks and a 15 min leisurely walk to the historic Petaluma downtown.
Ten out of ten!
My wife and I stayed at the tower for one month and had a lovely time. Our host, Jules, was wonderful. She’s responsive, accommodating, and great to communicate with. The place is stocked with kitchen utensils and quality bathroom consumables, which made move-in significantly easier. The home is cozy and best suited for 1-2 people, making it a comfortable place to settle into for an extended stay. It has everything you need for daily living: a comfy bed, an adequate kitchen, and a full bathroom. The only thing to note is that there is no laundry, however there are laundromats in town. You can access downtown Petaluma and the SMART train within about 20 minutes on foot. Charley’s Deli for sandwiches/beer, Aqus Cafe for coffee/wine, and Pinky’s for pizza/beer, all within close walking distance. I would recommend this spot to anybody staying in the area. Whether you’re planning a longer vacation or transitioning into the area, you’ll be very happy you chose to stay here!
