This charming historic home, built in 1790, features a recent addition including a solarium and an attached duplex available for mid-term stays. My wife, Less, and I live in the upper levels of the main house and take pride in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces. Hospitality is something we genuinely care about, and we've been hosting guests for over ten years across our properties.

This attached duplex offers a comfortable and private retreat. The lower level features a living area with a hammock, sofa bed, and TV — a great space to unwind after work. Upstairs is the main bedroom, furnished with a full bed, two nightstands, a working desk, a small closet, and a private bathroom. Two church windows let the sun in.

Otterbein is one of the most walkable, peaceful, and green neighborhoods in Baltimore. It’s right by the Inner Harbor and within walking distance of the Convention Center, UMAB School of Medicine, Camden Yards light rail & MARC station, and the downtown area. Also, next door to Federal Hill and its array of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops.
Best hosts ever
I stayed with Felipe and Less in their carriage house for two months and had a lovely experience. The space is private, set back from the rest of the home, with a private bath, and even a back entrance. It has its own heating/AC system. It's very light and sunny, and there is space for both work (I often work from home) and rest. The rest of the historic home is also beautiful, with a gorgeous sunroom that separates the carriage house from an impressive kitchen. It's a very safe neighborhood, just blocks from the water. The most important thing, however, is how Felipe and Less create community and truly welcome you into their home. I met interesting people, are delicious food, all because they made me feel included and comfortable. I learned a ton about Baltimore and all it has to offer. They have excellent suggestions on museums, music, restaurants, local attractions. I can't recommend enough!
