Unfair Fee Changes and Poor Rental Experience

I would advise future renters to carefully confirm all charges in writing before renting from this host. In my experience, the original written cleaning fee quoted to me was $75, but I was later charged $150. After paying rent and cleaning fees and staying only about 25 days, I was still accused of leaving the room unclean. I also experienced pressure to handle the rental arrangement outside the platform, which removed the protections and transparency normally provided to customers. My recommendation to future renters is: keep all communications in writing, avoid off-platform payments or agreements, and confirm all fees clearly before moving in. This was not a professional or transparent rental experience.
