Right Where You Want to Be, Prime Location Near Hospital's and Transportation

Super quiet, convenient, safe, and comfortable stay

Angela and Ken opened their home to me for a month while on contract at Montefiore Welier. It's a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute scooter ride from their house. The house and room are very clean and thankfully the room is exactly how it looks in the pictures. I slept comfortably, had plenty of space to spread out, and felt safe in their home. They provide space in the pantry as well as in the fridge. The 6 train is a 5 minute walk from the house. The area is incredibly walkable and I felt safe walking in the neighborhood as it's full of families and definitely felt like a community. Angela, Ken, and their son were all incredibly nice and great hosts.

Very Convenient, Comfortable Stay

I had a great stay at Andrea's home during my medical school surgery rotation in New York. The location was very convenient, especially with public transportation easily accessible nearby. The home itself was peaceful, comfortable, and a great place to come back to after long days at the hospital. Andrea was always responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay, which made everything very easy. I'm very grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay

I stayed here while on a travel contract RN. I typically like to rent an entire unit rather than a room, but it's expensive in New York. I count myself very lucky that this was the room I rented. Not only is the house clean and safe with a large bedroom, but the hosts are lovely people. I felt very comfortable there as a female traveler. Andrea and Ken are good people who became friends over the course of the stay. The street itself is quiet and I felt safe getting off the subway at 11pm/MN after being in Manhattan. The subway is a 5 minute walk away and there are plenty of bus stops. Once I learned to navigate public transportation it was easy to get anywhere I wanted. I ended up leaving my travel job early, but had I not, I would have quite happily lived there with each renewal.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a very nice home and a super nice family to stay with. They were extremely accommodating to me and even had a little basket put together of toiletries when I first got there. Stayed here for 6 weeks while I was in NY on rotation and I am very glad that I found this residence!
