Less Than Ideal Stay

Great location & nice layout, but our rental experience was disappointing as the property wasn't accurately represented or prepared for guests. It said the home had a/c but only had 2 portable a/c units for 3 bedrooms, & neither worked until my husband researched parts/repaired them. It stated backyard fence was secure for a dog, but it's in significant disrepair & our dog got out; my husband & son repaired it twice with landlords covering materials. Several maintenance issues arose - a Ring doorbell that repeatedly activated in the middle of the night due to wiring problems, smoke alarm batteries & a nonworking primary bathroom lock. It lacked basic supplies, including oven mitts, kitchen/hand bath towels, enough flatware, steak knives, & enough summer sheets. We handled multiple issues that should have been addressed before the home was rented, saving the landlords the cost of hiring repair professionals. These reasons made the overall rental experience disappointing.
