Heartfelt Thanks to Michelle for making my son's 3 month stay so comfortable and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better home. Apart from the house being in a wonderful safe neighborhood, it is very close to bus stops and Rio, the main commercial hub. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and my son had access to all the common areas.

The Perfect Fit

I couldn't have asked for a better landlord or house-mates. Living with the landlord's father and son was wonderful, both were warm and welcoming, especially the grandpa, who made my stay (I was interning at NIST nearby) truly special! The three-story townhouse itself was great; I had my room on the top floor but was welcome to use the kitchen and common areas freely. The neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable/bus-friendly (the Transit app gives accurate timings). Route 54 is short walk away and covers most of the area; the 76/63 connect directly to Shady Grove Metro for DC access or the free NIST shuttle. A short bus ride from the house reaches Rio and Crown, the downtown hub with restaurants, gyms (including rock climbing), bookstores, and a Target. Aside from a summer heat wave, everything about this place was top-notch, location and vibes included. Huge thanks to Michelle for being an amazing host!
