Quiet, Creative Oasis

I moved into The Artist Cottage about a week ago and fell in love with the space immediately! The bungalow has open communal areas, great for artmaking and getting to know housemates. The kitchen has dedicated cupboards to each room/person, the washer/dryer work great, and they even supply TP! Each bedroom has its own keypad. I'm currently in the Kusama room and love its quaintness. My mom stayed in Monet, which is much larger with a private bath. Both beds are comfy, though Kusama's is firmer. It's an older home with quirks like uneven floors, and some renovations and seasonal cleaning are still underway. None of that takes away from its charm! The neighborhood is quiet, near the river and park, yet close to downtown and my work. I've loved getting to know my housemate, and we both keep shared spaces tidy. Sally has been incredibly responsive to questions and maintenance needs. I came for short-term housing, but I'm already pretty certain I'll extend my lease!

A great place to stay

I stayed here this summer and it was great! The property was so cute and it was is a fantastic neighborhood! It's very safe and right near the park. The landlord was very nice and attentive. The kitchen was fully stocked!
