Great Stay with an Outstanding Landlord

The best part of this rental is the landlord, Annette. She is an excellent communicator, responds quickly, and was consistently helpful throughout my stay. From my experience, that level of responsiveness can be hard to find in the New York area. The studio itself has several great features. It has a modern split-unit system that provides both efficient air conditioning and heat. Although it's a studio, the layout makes it feel more like a one-bedroom because the kitchen is separated from the living/sleeping area. There is also a full-size washer and dryer inside the unit, plenty of closet space, and overall it is very functional and comfortable. The apartment is about 4.3 miles from the main RUMC campus on Bard Avenue, so having a car or using the bus is recommended if you're commuting there. I found it to be a quiet place to study after long hospital days on my clinical rotation. I was so pleased with my first day that I book the studio again for my next rotation.
